(also known as SPE) is an American entertainment company that produces, acquires and distributes filmed entertainment (theatrical motion pictures, television programs and recorded videos) through multiple platforms. Currently, television operations produce or distribute approximately 60 programs worldwide, spanning all formats and genres. SPT operates Crackle, a premium video website, featuring high quality original content, TV shows and feature films from the studio's library. Sony Pictures Entertainment comprises various studios and entertainment brands, including Columbia Pictures, Screen Gems, TriStar Pictures and GSN.
